J&K cops bust Hizbul module behind Banihal car blast

The J&K police on Monday claimed to have busted a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) module with the arrest of five more terrorists involved in a car blast in Banihal area of Ramban district on March 30, which targeted a CRPF convoy. “Police was able to bust the HM module responsible for the attack after sustained interrogation of the bomber," said IGP of Jammu Zone.

China spends four times more than India on defence: SIPRI

China’s military expenditure is almost four times that of India, as per the data released by global think-tank Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). "The five biggest spenders in 2018 were the US ($649 billion), China ($250 billion), Saudi Arabia ($67.6 billion), India ($66.5 billion) and France ($63.8 billion)," it said.

Indian Army on Tuesday claimed that one of its teams spotted mysterious footprints of mythical creature "Yeti" close to Nepal's Makalu Base Camp. During an expedition, the Mountaineering Expedition team came across mysterious marks measuring 32X15 inches, which the Army believed are of the mythical beast Yeti, the Army said.
