Rajasthan still bans leprosy patients from polls

Rajasthan has the dubious distinction of discriminating against leprosy patients as Section 19(f) of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, disqualifies a leprosy victim from contesting panchayat elections.
