HIV AIDS Act implemented: All you need to know

The HIV AIDS Act 2017 was implemented by the Ministry of health and family welfare Monday onwards. The bill was hailed as people-centric for penalising discrimination meted out towards people diagnosed with HIV. Among key provisions is the right of a person to be informed before undergoing an HIV test, guardianship rights of an affected minor etc.
