In a bid to push sales, the e-commerce giants are offering instant credit without credit/debit card, but with the use of Aadhaar number. The loans are being offered to persuade users who abandon a filled e-cart — for lack of sufficient cash— to go ahead with their purchase. Some lawyers say the move violates the recent SC verdict on Aadhaar.
