RLSP president Upendra Kushwaha stepped down as minister of state for human resource development on Monday in a move that could trigger a realignment of political equations in Bihar. Kushwaha had been at loggerheads with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the seat sharing formula in Bihar for the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
