Bharatmala 2.0 to focus on expressways, add 4000 km greenfield roads

Some of the identified greenfield highways include Patna-Rourkela, Jhansi-Raipur, Solapur-Belgaum, Bengaluru-Kadappa-Vijayawada, Gorakhpur-Bareilly and Varanasi-Gorakhpur. The target date for rolling out these roads totalling around 4,000 km under the Bharatmala phase-II would be 2024.
