Rahul Gandhi extended his party's support to Mamata Banerjee's TMC, saying that he hopes it would send a message of a "united India together". In a letter to TMC chief, Rahul said — "true nationalism and development can only be defeated on the tested pillars of democracy, social justice and secularism. The ideas that the BJP and Mr Modi are intent on destroying."
