Dept. of Transportation cancels nearly $1B grant for California's high-speed rail project
The US Department of Transportation announced Tuesday it is canceling $929 million in grant funds for California's high-speed rail system, ratcheting up the Trump administration's focus on the project after the state said it was scrapping it last week.
