In his autobiography, "Game Changer", Shahid Afridi revealed that his 1996 blazing maiden century off 37 balls against Sri Lanka in Nairobi which also created a new ODI world record, was scored using Sachin Tendulkar's bat. Sachin had given his favourite bat to Waqar Younis to get a replica made in Sialkot but before taking it away, Younis gave it to Afridi.
